By using specific key word searches with Google Alerts, Google News and Google Blogs you can pipe the RSS feeds into Google Reader to create your own listening dashboard.  Of course, throw in feeds from Twitter, Delicious, Flickr, YouTube, BackType (comment search) and you&amp;#39;ve got a very comprehensive as-it-happens monitoring tool.  I&amp;#39;ve also used Netvibes and iGoogle, but Google Reader&amp;#39;s layout works best for me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I&amp;#39;m currently experimenting with Yahoo Pipes to craft my own RSS feeds to create a more dynamic way to listen. For instance, I want a feed that shows Twitter conversations between two (or more) influencers.
